Open the heart and tne mind will understand

If you saw me for who I am, then you know nothing of me. If you hear me and understand what I mean, then you've gotten nothing from me. If you've caught the gist of my thoughts and feelings, then you've probably caught none, but yourself.

We all seek for someone who understands us. Who sees us for who we are. Who can pick out our likes and dislikes. Someone just like us.

Do such people exist?

The depth of the human soul is immeasurable. Never could you understand your heart no matter how deep you dive into it. So what makes you think that another could understand you better? What would it take for another to comprehend the deep unknown that is your psyche?

To understand the heart of another, takes courage. To comprehend another's behaviour, is to comprehend your heart. But the brain was not made to contain the complexities of the heart. If it was then you'd have no need for a heart, would you? Then again, who's to say that the heart is truly there, right? It might be just another translucent figment of the mind.

Emotions. They confuse and confound us. Our fears, our pride and joy.

Call upon the mind to understand the heart, and all you will do is confuse it. The palace of the heart, is where the mind is the weakest. Follow your thoughts, but when your path is in shadow and your mind is a jumble, listen to the silence in your heart.

We all face doubts in time. And we rely on others to drag us out of the dark. We look to people with similar beliefs. Constantly searching for someone who like us, feels the same way, or knows what we are feeling. Someone, who could shed light upon the dark path.

Look with you heart, not with your eyes. Only then can you see what's in your soul. Only then too, will you see what's in their soul.
